The VideumII Broadcaster SDI is designed specifically to meet the demands of professional webcasters, video production experts and video presentation specialists, who want to connect digital video sources (SDI). The picture on the right shows the card without the SDI upgrade module. It adds to BNC connectors to the bracket to provide SDI input and SDI output.
Today this card is
available a part of the Xstream MultiCaster SDI. Soon, it will be
available as a board level product.
- Provide the highest quality streaming audio and
video. A new audio technology based on the AC97 ensures that
noise is restricted from your webcast. - Provide the highest capture performance with lower
overall CPU usage. - Capture uncompressed (YUY2) video up to 768*576 @25
fps (PAL) or 640*480 @ 30 fps (NTSC) (including in 2 fields
interleaved mode). - Support wide screen formats: DVD: 640 by 360 (16:9)
and 640 by 272 (2.35:1) - Enable users to control their streams with more
precision. The capture settings and image settings can be
adjusted in smaller steps while encoding.
VideumII Broadcaster employs studio
quality audio (XLR) and video (BNC) locking connectors, the
same connectors that professional broadcasters have relied
upon for years for high-quality signal paths and that won't
be pulled loose.
The new breakout box, by featuring
two XLR audio connectors, four phono audio connectors and
two BNC video connectors, offers a unique solution for
anyone who desires the most performance audio and video.
Since professional connectors won't fit in a regular PC,
having them in a separate box will give them an easy
rackmount access and more flexibility to fit up to four
connectors in one unit rack. Thus, the new Winnov breakout
box eliminates PC cable clutter and provides the easiest
access to theVideumII Broadcaster Capture Board.
