CARCOM� is a long range uncooled thermal camera with one or dual fields of view lens providing quick and accurate situational awareness in a variety of security applications. The camera can be fixed, mounted or integrated into a pan and tilt device. The CARCOM� is based on state-of-the-art highly sensitive uncooled microbolometer engines (EYE R/EYE M).
It is capable of withstanding the harshest environmental conditions including rain, direct sunlight, high humidity and dust and can to detect man size targets 4 km away. Secured within a metal enclosure and protective connectors, the camera is shock resistant and immune to acts of vandalism.
The CARCOM� can be used as a stand-alone and/or as an OEM sensor to be integrated in the client�s surveillance system.
CARCOM� is especially designed for security surveillance, 24/7 hours of detection and protection applications. The system enables nighttime perimeter surveillance of sensitive sites, including national borders, harbors, airports, railroads, pipelines, oil terminals, electrical power-plants, communication transmitters and prisons.
