TACSIGHT™ SE 35’s powerful surveillance capabilities enable the user to effectively detect a person from a distance of over 650 meters and a vehicle from about 1300 meters. Applications This lightweight thermal camera enables rescue forces and law enforcement to conduct nighttime perimeter surveillance of sensitive sites, including national borders, pipelines, oil terminals, power stations, communication transmitters and prisons. TACSIGHT™ SE 35 allows law enforcement personnel to observe heat signatures of people and objects, detecting minute differences in temperature, thus distinguishing people from their immediate surroundings. TACSIGHT™ SE 35 is distinct from conventional night vision equipment, which requires light/special illuminators and can be incapacitated by atmospheric obscurants such as dust particles and smoke. TACSIGHT™ SE 35 does not require illuminators to generate high-quality images on the darkest nights, and can provide clear images even through smoke. Overcoming the limitations of night vision, TACSIGHT™ SE 35 prevents suspects from hiding behind the loak of darkness. Their own body heat gives them away.
